VIRTUAL CHANNEL TRENDS+VISIONS

Europe’s largest information and communicationtechnology in-house exhibition (see review video), the German CTV, had to be cancelled due to the Corona Virus. As a technology provider for the IT industry, it made sense for ALSO not to simply cancel the fair, but to digitize it. Within four weeks, the complex trade fair was translated into a virtual world, and on March 27th, GoLive was launched. Over 6,000 visitors, 51 exhibition stands, 29 webinars and even an after-show party – the visitor pinboard was full of enthusiastic comments.
This success prompted ALSO to quickly turn it into an international format. Less than four weeks later, on April 28th, the International Channel Trends + Visions took place simultaneously in the 20 remaining ALSO countries in Europe.
